Todd Bonewell
Todd founded Equity Builders in 1985 and built it on decades of hands-on construction experience, a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to getting every job done right. Known for always being on the move, his work ethic, problem solving and focus on quality remain the foundation of the company.
Outside of work, Todd is a proud father of three and grandfather to many. A former semi-professional golfer, he enjoys the golf course, the outdoors, renovation projects and following wrestling, and above all, time with his family.
Kyle Haas
As CEO, Kyle brings strong leadership, determination and a drive for excellence to Equity Builders. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and pairs that business knowledge with a hardworking, results-driven approach.
A former competitive wrestler, Kyle represented Team USA internationally and earned runner-up honors, experience that shaped the discipline he brings to leadership. Kyle and his wife, Bridget, have two boys, and he enjoys hunting and time outdoors with his family.
Duane Howard
With 40 years at Equity Builders, Duane is a cornerstone of the company and a familiar face around Wichita. A former professional Major League Baseball player and accomplished wrestler, he brings the same discipline and drive to every project, along with deep industry knowledge.
Duane is a proud father and grandfather who treasures time with his son and grandchildren. He enjoys music, meeting new people and getting out around Wichita. Whether he is sharing a story or lending a hand, Duane never meets a stranger.
Emily De la Rosa
Born and raised in Wichita, Emily leads marketing, community outreach and homeowner relationships at Equity Builders. She holds two bachelor’s degrees and two master’s degrees from Wichita State University, with a background in education, psychology and mental health counseling.
Emily takes pride in making the roofing process simple and personal for every customer. Outside of work, she is a proud mom of two daughters and enjoys running, family time and new creative projects.
Kevin Swint
Originally from Emporia, Kansas, Kevin brings more than 20 years of experience in technical services, sales and customer relations. While working in his family’s business, he helped develop the Vision 2 Pro, a patented headlight aiming system. What he enjoys most is working directly with homeowners and helping them feel confident in their decisions.
Kevin has two children and four grandchildren, and he loves fishing, golf and travel. He has visited 48 states, with only Hawaii and Montana left to explore.

Bret Means
With 40 years at Equity Builders, Bret brings deep experience in estimating, production management and the numbers behind every project. He holds a degree in Accounting, and his attention to detail and problem solving have been essential to the company’s success.
Bret has coached high school wrestling for more than 25 years, leading athletes to national-level competition many times. He is a devoted husband and father of a son and daughter, and his Christian faith is central to his life.
Charlotte Williams
For nearly 15 years, Charlotte has been the friendly voice on the phone and the organizational backbone of the Equity Builders office. Her welcoming personality, attention to detail and reliability keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Charlotte is a proud mom and grandmother who loves time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoys auctions, decorating and finding unique treasures to bring new life to any space.
Trey Dulaney
Trey leads sales management and field training at Equity Builders. A former U.S. Navy Special Operations Diver, he brings resilience, leadership and a strong work ethic to every homeowner conversation, and he takes pride in helping people feel confident throughout the roofing process.
Outside of work, Trey competes in ultramarathons and is a mental health advocate. He enjoys fitness, running, travel, time with family and anywhere near the ocean.
Marco McElwee
Born and raised in Kansas, Marco brings a natural talent for sales and a calm, personable approach that puts homeowners at ease. He listens closely, communicates clearly and builds the kind of trust homeowners need throughout a roofing project.
Marco is a proud father of two daughters, and family is at the center of his world. He enjoys spending quality time with his loved ones and making lasting memories.
Bridget Haas
Bridget brings dedication, compassion and a sharp eye for detail to human resources at Equity Builders. As a licensed nurse, she developed strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence. Having lived in Kansas and Oklahoma, she values hard work and meaningful relationships.
Bridget is married to Kyle and is a proud mom of two boys. Growing up with four brothers, she is no stranger to a little chaos. She loves wrestling, a good cup of coffee and time with her family.
